전시실
블루메미술관의 실내 전시장은 크게 대전시실과 소전시실로 나뉘어 있습니다. 대전시실은 56평 규모로 26미터의 긴 벽면이 이어지는 긴 회랑 같은 공간이며 한쪽 끝은 유리벽 너머로 큰 굴참나무가 서있는 트리 가든으로 이어집니다. 중간에 11개의 계단이 있어 공간 내 시점의 변화가 있고 세로로 긴 작은 고정창과 4.6미터 높은 천고의 공간 한쪽 측면에서는 자연광이 들어 내부가 밝은 편입니다. 대형설치작품이 들어오는 현대미술전시나 영화, 드라마, CF, 패션화보 촬영, 그리고 공명이 좋으며 계단을 관객석으로 활용가능하여 클래식 음악회 등 100명 이상의 인원이 참석가능한 행사도 다수 진행하였습니다. 소전시실은 3개로 정방형의 상설전시실 (25평), 낮은 천고와 사다리꼴 형태의 빛 제어가 가능한 공간(15평), 이와 같은 크기의 복층구조로 나무계단을 오르면 작은 창이 있는 다락방과 같은 전시실이 있습니다. 대전시실보다 휴먼 스케일로 집중도 있고 전환의 느낌을 주며 야외 정원으로 동선이 이어집니다.
Exhibition Space
The museum’s exhibit space consists of one large and three small exhibit rooms. The large exhibition room with a floor space of 184 m2 is a corridor-type space with a 26-meter-long wall, of which one end continues to the Tree Garden where the big cork oak is found. As there are 11 steps in the middle, one may have different visual angles when ascending and descending the stairs. Its interior is somewhat bright with good natural light that comes in with its 4.6-meter-high ceiling and hrough a vertically long fixed window. This room is available and ready not only for contemporary art exhibitions in which large scale installations can be displayed, but also for filming movies, dramas, commercial films, and fashion photographs. As the acoustics of this space are good, events with an audience of more than 100 people, including classical music concerts, can be held. There are three small exhibition rooms including the square permanent exhibition space (82 m2), the trapezoid space (50 m2) with a low ceiling in which the admission of light can be controlled, and the attic-like space of the same size with a small window along the wooden stairs. This space has a higher degree of concentration than the large exhibit room, brings about a feeling of conversion, and its line of movement continues to the outdoor garden.
