메도우 가든

트리 가든과 더불어 블루메미술관의 야외전시장으로서 메도우 가든은 인공의 콘크리트 건물에 작은 초원을 들여온 듯한 ‘블루밍 메도우(Blooming Meadow)’라는 정원작품이 설치된 곳입니다. 자연주의 정원의 대표적 디자이너인 김봉찬 더가든 대표가 2019년 조성한 이 정원공간은 미술관 학예사들이 직접 가꾸어오며 다양한 생물과 자연의 변화와 연결된 여러 강연과 워크숍이 가능한 장소이며 설치작품전시, 영상 상영회, DJing 행사 등 흙과 식물, 사람이 모여 무한히 다양한 콘텐츠를 담을 수 있는 공간입니다. 정원을 포함하여 36평 규모에 해가 진 후 콘크리트 파사드 벽면에 프로젝션할 수 있는 영상 및 음향기기가 구비되어 있고 실내 공간인 ‘정원의 방’과도 연결되어 있어 입체적 성격의 행사가 가능합니다.

Meadow Garden

An open-air exhibit space along with Tree Garden, Meadow Garden holds a work titled Blooming Meadow where a small grassland has been created in a man-made concrete building. Created in 2019 by KIM Bong Chan, as the presentative designer of naturalistic gardens in Korea, this garden space has been a place where many lectures and workshops pertaining to diverse creatures and changes in nature have been carried out, cultivated in person by the museum’s curators. This is also a space that can hold infinitely multifarious contents such as installation exhibitions, video and movie premieres, and DJing events. This space is also facilitated with sound and display equipment that can project video images onto the concrete facade after sunset. Indoor and outdoor occasions are also possible as it is linked to the interior space Garden Room.
